MAKE YOUR MARK.
Woodstock Bikeworks
– Woodstock Ontario.
A brand new brand.
Woodstock Bikeworks is a local business trusted by the local cycling community to keep their bikes moving. They offer specialty parts and service for a wide range of bicycles.
This new identity had to maintain the trust previously built while being modern, clean and versatile.
The company originally asked to modernize their existing logo with a clean typeface, captivating colours and clever graphics. The team had previously explored other logo options with bicycle graphics included in the logo and were not convinced that it was the right solution.
After extensive research and some trial and error, the new Woodstock Bikeworks was born.

The main logo architecture is comprised of three unique bicycle icons accompanied by the word-mark in a clean and modern font. The exciting differences between bikes are especially prominent in their handle and wheel shapes. Each bike was designed to carefully depict the corresponding style of bicycle. These are just three examples of the bikes serviced by the business.
Left to right the icons are Town, Mountain and Gravel bikes. These worked really well to solve an issue where the business could be confused for motorcycle parts service. Where the logo previously included the text ” Pro Bicycle Service” to avoid this, now the lockup can be simplified with icons and is more visually interesting.

Make Your Mark Campaign.
This is a mock campaign designed to show the client the potential for the logo components. The instagram mockup shows the favicon logo alternative as a profile photo demonstrating just how clearly defined this brand is.
Thank you to Woodstock Bikeworks for trusting me with your awesome brand. Your new brand has fundamentally changed the way I imagine logo design and I look forward to what we’ll create next.
