I’m James, a graphic designer who enjoys all things creative, especially when it comes to design. In my career, I have had the privilege of working along-side some amazing people collaborating on a variety of truly exciting initiatives. My goal is to use my skills as a designer to create beautiful and meaningful messages for all audiences in a way that furthers my own knowledge. I am excited at the possibilities ahead and can’t wait to get back to the drawing board.

Passionate about creating meaningful solutions that inspire.

Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about networking, not just to expand connections but also for the learning opportunities it offers. I’m grateful to those who’ve influenced my knowledge and skills, which I’ll use in my professional journey.

Managing parts of multi-million dollar store-transformation projects has taught me effective personnel and task
management in high-pressure environments. I focused on fair teaching and learning, collaborating closely with Staples Canada’s Director of Creative and her signage team. Together, we implemented signage and visual merchandising strategies aligned with brand standards. 

I have also enjoyed designing dynamic signage solutions that captured a brand’s essence, both for corporate and small business clients. Additionally, I coordinated a successful charity event, designing assets that boosted attendance and donations significantly from the previous year.

All of this experience in addition to my credentials in graphic design, helps me to see the end goal in a project while appreciating the process along the way. Purposeful design can transform perspectives and I am so excited to see what’s next in my design career.

Research is key for the success of any project. Doing my homework on your business helps our project be successful. Who are you, what impact do you have on your community, and who is your audience? These are all vital questions and there are many more to consider when starting a custom creation project. Working with my clients is also something I enjoy. Involving them in the important steps along the way so they can see the evolution happen in real time.
